Access Platforms Aberdeen has taken the UK’s very first delivery of Haulotte’s brand new HA20RTJ-Pro diesel boom. The four machines are each fitted with Haulotte’s secondary guarding system – ActivShield Bar and the delivery signals the end of a busy fleet expansion throughout 2015, which also included Haulotte’s new HA16RTJ-Pro diesel boom, Compact 14 and Optimum 8 electric scissors.
Access Platforms Aberdeen was established in 2005, serving North East Scotland through two depots in Aberdeen and Elgin. Managing Director, Rob Petrie said, “We have established a strong relationship with Haulotte during our ten years of trading and we have been very pleased with the reliability and performance of our Haulotte products. With our new HA16RTJ-Pro booms proving a great success, we are extremely happy to add the brand new HA20RTJ-Pro to our fleet. The HA20RTJ-Pro only weighs 9,600kg and with an excellent working envelope, 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel steer, crab steer and an oscillating axle as standard, the machine makes light work of the roughest terrain”.
Haulotte UK account manager Ged Kelly said, “Access Platforms Aberdeen is a family business dedicated to assisting their clients efficiently, safely and with the highest level of customer service. Haulotte are delighted to have the opportunity to continue working with APA and to be able to add our latest range of RTJ booms to their growing fleet”.
Access Platforms Aberdeen is an approved IPAF Training Centre and are certified to deliver PAL+ courses.
