Haulotte is excited to announce that the FASTN universal active anchorage system for aerial work platforms is now available for purchase.
Previewed at the APEX show in June 2023, the system has already won three awards (Grand Prix des Materiels - Chantiers de France - Best New Product at HIRE 2024 Australia - Working at Height Awards 2024). Customers will be able to purchase FASTN as a retrofit kit from Haulotte sales teams or directly from MyHaulotte genuine spare parts online shop. FASTN is also available for order as an option on new Haulotte machines through Haulotte subsidiaries*.

Prioritizing Safety in the Access Industry
- Maximizes harness use by creating an anchoring reflex
- Optimizes worksite safety through data utilization
- Ensures maximal compatibility and easy installation
4 main risky situations detected by the system
Harness not attached
The operator is immediately alerted by an audible and visual alarm if using the machine without being attached to the FASTN system. If their lanyard is not anchored after a few seconds, FASTN also alerts the worksite with a blue flashing light and a louder alarm.
Operator fall or ejection
If the operator is anchored to FASTN and the system detects abnormal tension, it immediately alerts the worksite that the operator may have fallen or been ejected.
Operator unconscious or motionless
If the operator is anchored to FASTN and is inactive for 45 seconds, the system will issue an alert to indicate possible distress. This function is particularly useful for solo workers or a lack of ground staff responsible for monitoring operations.
System bypass
If the operator attempts to force the FASTN system using anything other than the snap hook on their harness, the system will detect inactivity and activate the wake-up function to warn of potential misuse.
Universal compatibility with all MEWPs
The FASTN system is designed for universal compatibility, adaptable to all types of boom lifts, including those from Haulotte and other manufacturers. It is available for Haulotte booms in the RTJ, E, LE and SIGMA Ranges. FASTN can be installed as original equipment on new machines or as a retrofit option via a turnkey kit, available in MyHaulotte spare parts catalog or through Haulotte subsidiaries services teams.
With a rapid installation time of less than 30 minutes, FASTN is ideal for enhancing the safety of an entire fleet. Installation and maintenance manuals are provided, enabling technicians to quickly become familiar with the system. For added convenience and peace of mind, Haulotte technicians can handle the installation process on Haulotte machines.
The FASTN system has been developed by two dedicated intrapreneurs at Haulotte, Catherine Perrier and Maxime Girard. Over the past two years, they have worked tirelessly to create a product that meets stringent safety standards and complies with international regulations. Their full-time commitment has driven the design and industrialization of this unique product. At Haulotte, innovation is fostered through various channels, allowing flexibility and dedicated teams for innovative projects. Supported by COMEX sponsors, decisions are made swiftly, enabling our intrapreneurs to be agile and responsive in managing the project.
*FASTN system will be showcased at the ARA Show and shortly available for sale in the US. The system is currently not available for sale in the following regions: Latin America, Canada, Asia Pacific and Middle East.
